Warm Strawberry Milk

November 25, 2022

There’s something so soothing about a warm drink in fall or winter. This one has the added benefits of some key elements. I’m not one to really care about reading a blog that’s 30 paragraphs long until I get to the recipe, so I’ll give it to you first. If you want to read more about the benefits as a starting point to your own research, read on afterwards.

Strawberry Milk
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups raw milk or organic grassfed low pasteurized
3/4 cup strawberries {frozen or fresh}
1 Tablespoon coconut butter fair trade {helps make it so creamy}
to taste – maple syrup &/or raw honey {I prefer the benefits and taste of both}
1 Tablespoon grassfed beef gelatin
pinch white sea salt

Instructions:
Add milk, strawberries, and coconut butter to a small saucepan over medium heat.
Heat, stirring, until cocoa butter is melted and liquid is hot but not boiling. You don’t want to lose all the milk benefits either. Pour into blender, add in sweetener, and sprinkle with beef gelatin. Blend until smooth, first on low speed, then increase to medium. Use caution with hot liquid in the blender. Pour right away into mugs.
{enjoy}
Top with a homemade marshmallow for added effect.

Benefits of the ingredients. I’m going to list a few and you can go research on your own why to add these to your regular nutrition regimen.

Raw Milk – contains Vitamins A, C, E, zinc, iron, B complex, calcium, enzymes, immunoglobulins, whey protein. https://www.realmilk.com/milk-as-medicine/

Coconut Butter/Manna – healthy fat, antibacterial, boosts immunity

Maple Syrup – full of antioxidants and minerals, lowers the glycemic index, fights inflammatory disease

Raw Honey – improves digestion, helps blood sugars, reduce inflammation, soothing on a sore throat, good for seasonal allergies.

Grassfed Beef Gelatin – good for joints, sealing guts, metabolism, brain function

Sea salt – trace minerals, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and sodium. Good for adrenals which regulate blood pressure, stress levels and metabolism

For more nutrition information, I highly recommend this detox guide and this protocol. I’m not a doctor, I can’t tell you what to do, but eating a biblically clean, non processed, mostly organic diet has benefited us tremendously.
